Thursday Discovery?

Today we decided to have discovery. This confused us as it was only Thursday not Friday and lots of us were in active wear for athletics.

Due to the weather we held an inside discovery session. We had: 

Yoga

Army play

Elephant and Piggie cut and paste

Colouring

Cars and trains

Family corner

And lots more

Discovery - Autumn fun!

Today we had a brilliant day in discovery.

Autumn Discovery

We are making the most of this lovely sunny autumn weather by having lots of outside activities today. We have collected lots of the beautiful leaves that have fallen and used them to create monsters, birds and people.

The children created their own obstacle courses and then tried them out in teams.

Discovery dress up challenge!

What do you want to be when you grow up? We think we have created some new careers!! There was some fantastic problem solving going on when the children had to create their costumes. We can't wait to read the writing that will go along with these fantastic ideas next week!

Discovery! Lego challenges!

What a busy morning during discovery today!

In the green space we were doing Lego challenges. 

Some were only building using one colour brick 

Some were building things from the sea

We also had a free design group.
