Collaboration Experts!

We loved the collaborative art so much last week that the children asked for it again on Friday...we couldn't refuse!

The children worked with others from their learning space and from Kowhai, producing some creative works of art.

These are displayed in the hall and the library, come in and have a look when you have time.

If you have any time on a Friday morning and would like to pop in to visit us during Discovery Time, please do!

Well we are 6 weeks down. The children have learned so much. We have some cool little gymnasts in our space. 

Not only do we do some cool stuff we also today saw this wicked display.

Collaboration at Discovery time.

We focused on our school values at Discovery time today along with collaboration.

We painted pictures together and had lots of conversation about what we would paint and which jobs we would do. Here are some of our fantastic collaborations and collaborators!

What Floats in a Moat?

This week we read the book What Floats in a Moat and then decided to try and make a boat that would float. We made a plan, decided what materials we needed and then created our boat.

Duffy Books Term 2

At the end of Term 2 we were super lucky to get our Duffy Book to take home after a fun assembly. 

We love getting our Duffy Books and really enjoy sharing the stories with each other.
