Duffy Theatre

The Pohutukawa children enjoyed watching the visiting Duffy Theatre Company with the rest of Sockburn School last week. Duffy invented a time machine to visit the past and help his friend learn to read.
Next week we have a visiting role model coming to talk to the school about how reading helps them and present some Duffy books to the children.

iPads

We have been learning about how to keep safe when using the iPads and how to take care of them. Today each child coloured in our iPad rules to take home. We are excited about starting to use the iPads to help our learning in Pohutukawa.
