Wednesday Yoga

Today we were lucky enough to give yoga a go.

We all did a great job and had fun doing it. 

Term 2

We have been remembering how to use our CARES today with our new children who have joined Pohutukawa this term. Have a look and see how we have been cooperating with each other to colour matching mittens. We had to discuss the colours and pattern with our buddy and agree on how to work together!

Sharing our knowledge

We are so lucky to be able to share our learning on the whiteboard table.

We have been learning about diagrams. We had lots of fun making our own. 

Term One Maths in the Red Space

We can order the numbers forwards and backwards to and from 10.

Having fun doing a number sequencing dot to dot.

We like playing team dice games.

We are getting very good at writing our numbers.

We are learning to recognise the dot patterns on a dice.

Number puzzles are so much fun. We can count the objects and match the puzzle piece to the correct number.

Learning maths with play dough is one of our favourite things to do.

Look, we can make numbers using the play dough!

We have been practicing counting forwards and backwards to and from 20.
